MPA Church

History of MPA

From a small prayer meeting to a church family.

  • Late 2009What started as a small prayer meeting very soon became a church. MPA began in an apartment, with the vision of making disciples who will make disciples, inspired by the great commission given by Jesus Christ in Matthew 28. Worship, discipleship and evangelism soon became MPA's focal point.
  • Growing out of the apartmentMartha Mary church in Eagan became the new place of worship. As time passed, MPA began to conduct services in the Eagan Community Center Board Room, one of many stops along the way.
  • Community CenterThe church continued to grow. The North Oaks room at the community center was big enough to contain MPA for a while. The Lord blessed the church with various events, gatherings and fellowship, and the drive to evangelize grew stronger each passing day. Over 50 missionaries across 5 countries are provided both leadership and financial support by the church members through different organizations.
  • November 27, 2016No journey is complete without its challenges. MPA found it harder to rent places for worship, and moving audio equipment twice a week was no easy task. The church got on its knees and prayed for a place to worship in all freedom. God never despises small beginnings.
  • January 29, 2017Christ answered our prayer: a place to worship Him in all freedom, in Spirit and Truth. God's faithfulness and favor were evident.
"Until Jesus Christ returns we will continue to make disciples who will make disciples, wherever the Lord sends us."
